
Over the years I have worked on publications such as Vote for Women, Cooking with Heroes: The Royal British Legion cookbook, Strive for Perfection: 110 years of the Flying Lady, Exploration the Extraordinary: 100 Years of Bentley Motors, The Commonwealth at 70, Business Leader magazine, HCB magazine, and many more.
As Designer, my approach to print and editorial design centres on balancing strong visual storytelling with practical structure. Every publication starts with an understanding of its purpose, whether it's celebrating heritage, amplifying contemporary voices, or delivering in-depth business insight.
It is key to create design systems that accommodate editorial variety while maintaining cohesion across spreads. Typography, layout grids, and imagery are carefully selected to reflect tone, audience, and content depth.
Part of my work often included material selection such as paper stocks, finishes, and print techniques to complement the editorial theme and content. I always ensure that design isn’t just decoration but that it create a narrative framework and meaning.
